‘Juno’ Writer Diablo Cody Rejects USD 1M Stuart Weitzman Shoes

LOS ANGELES The place fit - and cost USD 1 000 000 - but Diablo Cody didn’t wear ‘em.

Fancy-footwear decorator Stuart Weitzman had got selected the Oscar-nominated “Juno” screenwriter to have on his especially designed USD 1 000 000 diamond-encrusted Retro Rose place on the red carpet, but Cody chose to have on a brace of simple gold flat under her fluxing Dior Panthera pardus print dress alternatively.

“It was a chintzy publicity stunt,” she said the AP on the red carpet.

On Friday, Cody lashed out at Weitzman on her MySpace blog postdating the expensive shoe choice.

“They’re exploitation me to air their stupid place and NOBODY ASKED ME,” she composed. “I would never consent to a lame promotional material stunt at a clip when I already want to conceal.”
