‘Debaters,’ ‘Payne’ take home Image Awards
Monday, March 17th, 2008LOS ANGELES, Golden State Denzel Washington’s “The Great Debaters” and Tyler Perry’s TBS serial “House of Payne” occupied top honors at Thursday night’s NAACP Image Awards.
“The Great Debaters” was called top film, piece acting prizes locomoted to its stars Washington, Jurnee Smollett and teen Denzel Whitaker.
